R.I.S.E. Young Professionals next Lunch + Lead event will be Wednesday, June 13th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with featured speaker Rachel Hatch, Program Officer for Community Vitality at The McConnell Foundation. Tickets to this event are complimentary with R.I.S.E. membership and are $15 for non-members.
“The McConnell Foundation values working in partnership to help build better communities. [They] value excellence and integrity, using [their] personnel, facilities, and financial resources for positive change. [They] value long-term planning, working responsibly and respectfully with others, as well as encouraging creative ideas and entrepreneurial strategies.”
The topics Rachel will be covering at June’s Lunch + Lead event will be The McConnell Foundation’s ten-year vision for downtown Redding and “How Foresight Informs Strategy.” If you haven’t already, check out the Facebook Live we streamed with Rachel in December 2017 where she shared about McConnell’s plans for the former Police Station on California street.
Other ways to connect with Rachel include the McConnell Foundation website and her (very active!) Twitter account, where she shares project updates, community inspiration, and the hilarious quirks of living in Northern California such as “marketing squirrel hunting to Chinese millennials.”
